Farewell!

Hello everyone! I would like to announce the final post to the us4HIM Update Blog.

We have officially launched www.blockonestudios.com, our new joint business/ministry venture with StembridgeMill Moving Pictures, and all further updates will be posted on the Block One Blog, or our personal DiMaria Bros. Blog.

BROS News/Temporary Move

Hello! I have a short update, and some news.

He's some news for you techies reading this: we have had some hard drive array complications. We had to return our original Buffalo DriveStation Duo because the RAID utility didn't work with Intel Mac's. So, we returned it and purchased a Western Digital MyBook Mirror Edition with pre-configured RAID 1. I formatted it today and it works fine. The only problem is that the Western Digital is only USB, not FireWire like the Buffalo, but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes...

Anyways, I wanted to let everyone know that our production updates will now move primarily to the BROS site for the production of the film. So, if you don't see anything going on here, check www.us4him.com/bros. That will get you to the BROS site!

Also, please pray that God will give us the actors for the roles of the parents. We have had a couple possibilities fall through, and we're nearing deadline, so please keep that in your prayers!

Update on the pre-production of Bros:

The 8th draft of the script is nearly finished, and it will most likely undergo at least 1 more draft before being final. It's amazing how much a script changes from its 1st draft!

Lord willing, we have our crew and most of our cast ready for the film, and have just about secured one of our locations. I'm very happy to again be working with people I've worked with in the past, and looking forward to meeting the new people joining us - it's going to be a great time!

I would very much appreciate your prayers, as we are still in need of an ambulance for one scene, a hospital room, and two more actors. We are trusting in the Lord to provide us with what we need, and are looking into possible options right now, and your prayers are much-appreciated. It is our desire that God be glorified and present in every aspect of this film.

Shooting will be taking place in less than a month, and there is much to do!!! It's definitely an exciting time and we'll try to keep you updated as we go along.

Bros - The Movie

Hey all! I have some exciting news! Our next film project, Bros, is scheduled for shooting! We have our crew and most of our cast together, and the shooting schedule is planned for May 28-June 6.

This project is in the Lord's hands. There are still a few things that need to fall into place for it all to work out, but the Lord led us to these dates, and we know he'll work everything out before then.

Please pray God's blessing of this project and further provision for the missing parts of the production!

Well, the first shipment of supplies for our next film has arrived.

We had a Skype meeting last night with most of the cast/crew, and we're almost all set for who's coming and what everyone will be doing. We think we have the dates good to go, but we're still praying about it.

Please pray God's guidance in the planning and shooting of the project! If all the scheduling works out, we hope to have a website up within the next month.

Howdy!

Well, preparation has begun for our next film project. We've ordered all the initial supplies, and we're hoping to have this thing all ready to go so we can shoot at the end of May.

We're close to having all our cast and crew assembled, too! It's exciting, we're almost ready to go!

Hey, I've got some great news! Family Court and The Vision have both been accepted into the Faith Film Festival!

The Vision Premiere!

On Sunday March 1st we had the wonderful opportunity to show The Vision at a friend's church!
Our friend Ron is a youth pastor at his church, and invited us to show the film at his youth service. The premiere went great! Geno and I went up before the film started just to give an intro, then the film started.

When The Vision was over Ron made an altar call, not just for salvation, but for anyone who had anything heavy on their heart. Geno, Anth, and I went up to speak a little bit and answer any questions the crowd had. The crowd had several questions, and we had fun answering them!

When the rest of the service was over we went out and sold a few DVD's, and talked with some of the people at the church.

Thank you, Ron, for the great opportunity you gave us!

I would like to announce our new video for a local film contest that a newspaper is putting on. The winner of the contest will have their film screened at the Charleston Internation Film Festival in April!

Our latest project together is the RUSS ONLINE VIDEO SERIES. This series takes excerpts from Russ's DVD's and presents powerful evidence for Creation. Monday was the launch for this project, so there are five videos online right now, and a new one will be posted every Monday, so check back!

Hello again! I bring more good news. Yesterday we had a DVD sale and signing at our local Christian bookstore and we sold three us4HIM gift packs, and a copy of The Vision! It was really neat!

We hope that all the people that purchased the films are blessed by them and that the messages will spread through the area!

Greetings again! I have a some good news about Family Court to share with you!

We were accepted into the FuzzB Family Film Festival! The festival has already taken place, and we did not win, but we did get in!

We entered a couple other film festivals as well, so I'll let you know as soon as I recieve any news from the others.

Happy Loving the Enemy Day, everyone! That's right, two years ago today we started filming our first major project. It's really hard to believe it's been two years already... Jake (who starred in the film with me) gave me a happy birthday call yesterday, and we talked about how we can't believe its been two years!

Anyways, have a good Loving the Enemy Day!

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that Family Court was not accepted into the SAICFF. We are disappointed, but we know that it is God's will.

Well, so far the website changes are going nicely. I'm pleased with how the new pages have turned out. I have finished the Loving the Enemy and The Vision pages as much as I currently can. Go check them out! The The Vision site turned out much better than I thought it would!
